1999 Charter Class

Set UC Davis record for Most Victories (32) and Highest Winning Percentage (.627), earned against difficult schedule. Both marks stood for 20 years. Ten wins achieved against University Division programs including Stanford University, Fresno State University, University of Nevada, St. Mary’s College & University of Pacific.

Defeated nationally-ranked Stanford twice, at home and away. Finished third on West Coast tied with UC Irvine in the NCAA District VIII rankings. Hit for .281 Team Batting Average in one of last years with wood bats.

Team Earned Run Average of 2.78 was one of lowest in UCD history. In best tradition of UC Davis student-athletics, graduated every team member with either undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
