2003 UC Davis Baseball Team

Inducted 2019

NCAA College World Series team for second time in program history. Swept through NCAA Western Regionals with back-to-back shutout victories including 9-inning complete game no-hitter by Dave McKae versus offensive powerhouse Fort Hays State University. Twice defeated CCAA rival Sonoma State University. 5 Aggies were accorded All-Regional Tournament honors. Finished tied for 5th place in NCAA College World Series in Montgomery, Alabama, besting Abilene Christian University. Set all-time UCD team season records for Most Hits (629), Most Doubles (125) & Most Sacrifices (66). Hit .309 as team with 4.32 team ERA. Four UCD players selected All-CCAA- Butterworth, Coultas, Kamagawachi & Soderman. Rawlings/ABCA All-West Region honors were earned by Coultas & Soderman. Head Coach Rex Peters named ABCA/Diamond Sports NCAA West Region Coach of the Year.
