1985 UC Davis Baseball Team

Inducted 2001

Northern California Athletic Conference Champion team scored more runs (367), hit more home runs (62), pounded out more hits (487) and batted in more runs (330) than any UCD team before. With 30 Wins against only 19 Losses and 20-10 record in NCAC, it dominated strong schedule including victories over Division I programs Santa Clara University, University of Pacific, St. Mary’s College and University of San Francisco.

Hit .302 as team. Landed four players on All-Northern California Athletic Conference First Team. Strong pitching staff featured NCAC Pitcher of Year.

Three players each hit 13 home runs during last campaign at old Joseph Main Diamond adjacent to Toomey Field. One of most noteworthy offensive powerhouses in school annals.
